Participate in our Research
We are currently recruiting participants for research projects in the NRCS Lab. If you’re interested in taking part, please see the information below.
Have you experienced a mTBI in the last 12 months?
We are inviting individuals who have experienced a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)/concussion within the past 12 months to complete a short survey. This survey explores self-reported cognitive complaints following mTBI. Our goal is to validate this tool within a New Zealand concussion context and examine how it relates to various mTBI outcomes.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Dr Josh Faulkner at [email protected].
Are you are a Māori psychologist using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in your practice?
We are aiming to explore the utility and responsiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Māori. As part of this research, we are interviewing Māori psychologists who incorporate ACT into their clinical practice to better understand their experiences with this therapeutic approach.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Ana Below at [email protected].
Have you Recovered from a mTBI?
We are seeking individuals who have recovered from a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) or concussion within the past five years. This study aims to deepen our understanding of cognitive difficulties following mTBI and the personal experience of cognitive recovery. Participants will be invited to take part in a one-on-one interview with a researcher (online or in person).
